Bhubaneswar : The Odisha goverenment Thursday invited applications for the post of Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission. The post is laying vacant eversince PK Jena relinquished the charge before his five years term is over.
The last date for submitting the application is by 10″ August, 2026.
The Chairperson of the Commission shall be a person of ability, integrity and standing who has adequate knowledge of and has shown capacity in dealing with problems relating to engineering, finance, commerce, economics, law or management.
The Chairperson of the Commission shall not hold any other office.
The Chairperson, OERC shall hold office for 5 years from the date he/she assumes charge or till he/she attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
The Chairperson is entitled to get a pay of Rs, 2,25,000/- per month. In addition, he/she is further entitled to DA and other allowances as admissible to the Chairperson of the Commission from time to time.
