Bhubaneswar: Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Bhubaneswar, successfully organized SANKALP 2.0 – Startup Advancement for Next-Gen, Knowledge, Agile Leadership & Progress at NOCCI Business Park, Balasore.
Organized under the theme “Harnessing AI & Cyber Security for Smarter Enterprises and a Safer Digital World,” the event brought together an impressive gathering of startup founders, entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, policymakers, technology experts, academicians, innovators, students, and ecosystem enablers from across the country on a common platform to promote innovation-led growth in Balasore and Northern Odisha.
The inaugural session was graced by Odisha Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj as the Chief Guest. The occasion was also graced by Balasore MLA, Manas Kumar Dutta, Bhubaneswsr STPI Director Manas Panda, Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) Group CEO Sopnendu Mohanty, TiE Bhubaneswar President Ayaskanta Mohanty, Balasore Chamber of Industry & Commerce President Sanjay Das, and BalasoreNOCCI President PK Dave Balasore.
On the occasion, the Minister Suraj launched the Open Challenge Program (OCP) 8.0 of Electropreneur Park (EP), Bhubaneswar and the Call for Proposal (CFP) 8.0 of EmTeK Centre of Excellence, inviting startups and innovators to avail incubation, mentorship, and technology support under these flagship initiatives.
STPI Director Panda reaffirmed STPI’s commitment to expanding India’s startup ecosystem beyond metropolitan cities and fostering innovation-led growth across Tier-II and Tier-III regions. He said, “Innovation is no longer confined to metropolitan cities. Through Sankalp 2.0, STPI is unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of emerging regions by connecting innovators with world-class incubation, mentorship, technology infrastructure, investors, and markets.”
