Berhampur: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) organized the CSR Excellence Awards 2026 at its Management Development Centre (MDC), Berhampur, celebrating the spirit of community service, volunteerism, sportsmanship and sustainable livelihood development across Southern Odisha.

A major highlight of the event was the launch of the TPSODL CSR Film, showcasing the organization’s impactful initiatives undertaken across Southern Odisha during the year.
TPSODL has empowered over 98,000 households, benefiting nearly 4.8 lakh citizens across 1,044 Gram Panchayats through digital literacy programmes. More than 60,000 students have been sensitized on sustainability, energy conservation and climate responsibility through club enerji initiatives.
Under the Adhikaar initiative, over 16,600 beneficiaries across 668 villages gained access to essential government welfare schemes.
The company has also supported scholarships and educational assistance for diploma studies, established vocational training centres to equip youth with industry-relevant skills, conducted hospitality and food production training, rooftop solar technician training, promoted organic farming practices and contributed to the revival of traditional Saura art, creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for local communities. In last Financial year company has impacted more than 10 lakh people through several CSR programs.
The ceremony also featured a Sports Felicitation Programme, recognizing outstanding sportspersons and contributors who have excelled at state-level competitions with the support and encouragement of TPSODL.
Volunteers and teams were also felicitated for their active participation in Tata Volunteering Week 2025 and Tata Sustainability Month 2025. Another special segment of the programme was the Anokha Dhaaga SHG Felicitation Ceremony, honouring women entrepreneurs for their dedication, craftsmanship and contribution towards building sustainable livelihoods.
