Bhubaneswar: Gandhi Peace Centre at Bhubaneswar, managed by Aditya Birla Group in partnership with Govt of Odisha, celebrated 80th Independence Day and memorised the great role played by Mahatma Gandhi in Indian Freedom Struggle.
The celebration was participated by large number of NCC and Scout and Guide students, inmates of Khandagiri based orphanage Jeevanjyoti Ashram and members of nearby old age home.
President and Head of Aditya Birla Group, Odisha Ardhendu Mohapatra hoisted the tri-colour, which was followed by chanting of National Anthem and National Song. Several senior citizens, team members of Gandhi Peace Centre and employees of Aditya Birla Group attended the celebrations.
