Bhubaneswar: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhubaneswar successfully hosted its Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon (SIH), here last week, witnessing enthusiastic participation from more than 60 student teams from across the Institute.
The participating teams presented their solutions across a wide range of themes, including Smart Automation; Smart Education; MedTech, BioTech & HealthTech; Agriculture, FoodTech & Rural Development; Disaster Management; Robotics & Drones; Blockchain & Cybersecurity; Space Technology; Transportation & Logistics; and Clean & Green Technology.
Prof. Ashish Ghosh, Director, IIIT Bhubaneswar, provided his valuable guidance, encouragement and unwavering support, towards the successful organisation of the event.
The Internal Hackathon was organised under the leadership of the Institute SIH 2026 SPOC, Dr. Bibekananda Panda and other faculty members from the Institute. The Institute encouraged the students for the national-level Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026 due to be held later this year.
