Bhubaneswar : The newly elected executive committee of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Odisha Chapter for the term 2026–2028, assumed office on Wednesday.
Mousumi Nanda has been elected Chairperson of the IIA Odisha Chapter. The new team comprises the following office-bearers :
• Vice Chairperson: Laxmi Narayan Singh
• Hon. Treasurer: Bibhudatta Sahoo
• Jt. Hon. Secretary: Debi Prasad Sahu
• Jt. Hon. Secretary: Bhakti Prasad Mahapatra
The newly elected Executive Committee Members are Nandini Parida ,Lagnajit Mohapatra , Shiva Prasad Rath , Saumya Ranjan Behera , Sneha Lata Dash , Anusuyа Tripathy, Rabi Narayan Das, Shankar Giri, Abhinav Kaushal and Manas Ranjan Nayak.
In addition, Rudra Sabitru Nayak and Dibya Jyoti Ray have been co-opted as members of the Executive Committee.
The General Body Meeting was chaired by the newly elected Chairperson, Mousumi Nanda, in the presence of the outgoing Chairperson, Swapanadaata Mohanty.
Addressing the gathering, Mousumi Nanda, emphasized the importance of taking the profession of architecture forward through greater collaboration, professional excellence, inclusivity and meaningful engagement with architects and the wider community. She expressed her commitment to making the Odisha Chapter more progressive, vibrant and responsive to the emerging needs and aspirations of the architectural fraternity.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Chairperson, Laxmi Narayan Singh.
