Baleshwar: TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) has strengthened its preparedness across the region to support safe, reliable and quality power supply throughout the festive period. With increased electricity demand at puja pandals and greater use of temporary electrical installations during the celebrations, TPNODL is working closely with puja committees, local administrations and field teams to facilitate authorised temporary connections and promote safe electrical practices.
Puja committees have been advised to obtain authorised temporary electricity connections through the prescribed process, based on their actual load requirements, and to apply well in advance. For assistance, committees can contact TPNODL’s Customer Care numbers at 1912 / 1800-3456-718, visit the TPNODL website or approach their nearest electricity office. Organisers have also been urged to strictly avoid improper connections, overloading and any unauthorised modification of electrical installations.
TPNODL CEO Dushyant Kumar Tyagi said, “We urge all puja committees to obtain authorised temporary electricity connections and strictly avoid any unauthorised means of power supply. Electrical installations at pandals should be carried out safely and in accordance with prescribed safety standards. We are working closely with organisers and the local administration to support safe and reliable power supply throughout the festive season.”
