Bhubaneswar: Effecting a minor reshuffle in the top bureaucracy, the Odisha government Saturday appointed Ashok Kumar Meena as the new principal secretary finance.  Meena, 1993 batch IAS was principal

 

secretary general administration.

The additional chief secretary finance, TK Pandey, has been posted at Principal Resident Commissioner at New Delhi. Pandey, a 1987 batch IAS,  replaced  VK Saxena who attained superannuation on November 30, 2018.

The government has posted 2002 batch IAS Girish S N as special secretary general administration. Girish was managing director Odisha State Cooperative Bank(OSCB)
Additional secretary planning and convergence Debendra Kumar Jena, a 2005 batch IAS officer, has been posted as managing director of OSCB.
On November three chief secretary rank IAS officers attained superannuation. Development commissioner R.Balakrishnan, princiap resident commissioner at New Delhi Vipin Saxena, and chairman Odisha Warehousing Corporation Sangram Mishra retired from the elite service. Additional chief secretary Home Ashit Tripathy was appointed as the new development commissioner. He will continue as ACS home till further order.
