Bhubaneswar: Veteran film actor Prakash Raj Thursday came down heavily on prime minister Narendra Modi.
Prakash Raj, a defender of democratic institutions, said that Modi has betrayed the mandate. Taking a dig at Modi’s frequent foreign visits, he said, ” Our PM is an NRI”. “Only during the elections time he would be seen in the poll bound states”, he added. Prakash said Modi is a lair and he has come to power by making all false promises.
The Singham-famed actor also crticised the BJP national president Amit Shah. ” Amit scares the people”, he said.
Prakash Raj, while speaking on the Save Constitution, Save the Nation at a seminar organized by Odisha Jana Chetana Mancha, urged the people to dislodge a government that is not to their liking.
Odisha Congress president Niranjan Patnaik, Ali Patnaik, Janardhan Pati, Radhakanta Nayak, Seikh Abdul Wali, Aswini Mishra, Urmimala Das and Vijaya Bohidar also addressed the seminar.
