Southern and Northern Odisha to Experience Heavy Cyclonic Rainfall Next Week

Bhubaneswar: Southern and northern Odisha will experience heavy rain falls next week.

The Odisha government special relief commissioner has given an weather alert quoting from IMD that  Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Ganjam districts will receive heavy rain fall in next 48 hours due to cyclonic circulation over North West Bay of Bengal.

Another system likely form on 1st Sept and seems to be stationary up to 5th Sept.It may cause continuous heavy rainfall in North Odisha river catchments during 2nd-5th Sept.
