Forbes, while delivering the 15Th Foundation Day Lecture of the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar(XIMB), here on Tuesday, urged the B-school students to “Oppose anyone who asks you to conform to a narrower definition of being an Indian.”
The co-chairman spoke on the future of Indian industry and the role of managers in the new situations. He said as future managers, one needs to make Indian industry technology focused, international, collaborative as good corporate citizen and ethical. He motivated the students to excel by sharing his experiences and discussed a few important lessons through examples.

XIMB -XUB chairman Mr. RajiveKaul and XIMB director and vice-chancellor XUB Fr. Paul Fernandes, S.J., graced the Foundation Day Lecture event. Noted academicians, government officials , eminent business personalities , government board members, faculty ,staff,students and alumni of XIMB-XUB were present.
In the past, corporate honchos like Vinita Bali, Madhur Bajaj, Lalite Gupte, Ashok Soota, Preetha Reddy, B.Muthuraman and D Shivakumarhave had delivered lectures on the Foundation Day.
