Bhubaneswar: SOA university drama club Toneelstuk’s street play Tu Apna Spno Ki Udan Bhar( chase your dreams) has bagged the best play award in a street play contest involving universities and colleges organized to mark the World Theatre Day here on Tuesday.
As many as 11 ‘nukkad’ presentations showcased in the competition held at Ekamra Haat. The competition was organized by Suryaam Foundation and Odia One.
Nineteen students including director Rohan Yadav, supporting director Musharaf Ahmed, Priyanka Priyadarshini, Pranabananda Khillar and Sangram Kochiari participated in the play.
The jury included well known theatre personalities Abhinna Routray, Jayprakash Das and Pradeep Das.
