Bhubaneswar: The Utkal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (UCCI) in collaboration with Central government’s Trade Promotion Council of India organized a programme “Road Show – Indus Food 2019 “ , here on Friday.
The main objective of Indus Food is, an exhibition cum B2B business platform exclusively for the food sector under closed door facilities where business promotions, activities are conducted exclusively between buyers and exporters. Oversea buyers as recommended by the exhibitors are invited by TPCI with complete hospitality to interact directly with exporters.
The TPCI joint director, Kapil Gupta, gave a brief introduction about TPCI and senior deputy director Deepak Vohra, gave a presentation higlighting features of Indus Food. The managing director of APICOL, S. S. Dey, spoke the potential in food sector in Odisha. Assistant director EIA Kavita Mishra and MPEDA joint director UC Mohapatra spoke on seafood sector. UCCI president Ramesh Mahapatra and vice president Deepak S Rathor also spoke.
About 90 representatives from sectors like seafood, rice cashew, poultry, confectionery and spices attended the road show.
