Bhubaneswar: The state government Saturday decided to spend Rs 4000 crore for infrastructure development of six industrial parks in the state. Paradip Plastic Park, Angul Aluminium Park, Jaymangala Industrial Estate and Chatabara Industrial Estate of Khurda, Ramdaspur Industrial Estate of Cuttack, and Bamuni Industrial Estate of Nabarangpur district will get infrastructures like high-level bridges, ring roads, electric supply line, and water supply line with investments.
An inter-departmental meeting of the Industrial Estate Infrastructure Fund(IEDF) chaired by chief secretary AP Padhi decided to fund these infrastructure projects from the IEDF in 2018-19 fiscal. The Idco chairman-cum-managing director, Sanjaya Kumar Singh, presented the status of the industrial parks/ estates position.
Additional chief secretary finance TK Pandey, principal secretary industries Sanjeev Chopra, principal secretary rural development Mona Sharma, secretary energy Hemanta Sharma, secretary works Nalini Kanta Pradhan were present.
