Bhubaneswar: Dr.Surendra Kumar Gakhar has taken over as the new vice chancellor of Sri Sri University.
A post graduate and Ph.D holder from Kurukshetra University, Dr.Gakhar has above thirty-two years of teaching and research experience. He has been founder VC of Choudhury Bansi Laal University, Bhiwani; Dean Maharsi Dayan and University; Director, Rashtriya Uchatar Shiksha Abhiyan and Director, Distance Education, Computer Centre and Public relations in Maharsi Dayanand University.
He has worked as NAAC coordinator of Maharsi Dayanand University which has been accredited with “A “grade. He has worked for Research & Planning at National Level as Member in various Forum; Member–Expert Committee, Research Evaluation Committee, UGC. He has been awarded in the field of science and life science from many national and international bodies.
