Cuttack: The three-day state-level training program on gender budgeting got off, here on Saturday.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Oxfam coordiator, gender division, Rukmani Panda, Madhusudan Das Academy of Financial Management joint director, Sujata Pati, former financial adviser to the ministry of defence SN Mishra, and director of School of Women Studies(SWS) , Utkal University, Navaneeta Rath, Lucknow University’s DR Sahu, and coordinator-cum-consultant to state Women & Child Development department Amrita Patel. Oxfam’s Pravas Ranjan Mishra and Girish Swain are resource persons for the training programme.
The union ministry of Women & Child Development has identified the School of Women Studies, Utkal University, as a nodal center to conduct three training program on gender budgeting in the state. The next training program is going to be organised at Bhubaneswar in March 2019. The first one was held at Balasore in January.
