Naraj(Cuttack): The Sri Sri University is soon going to introduce courses on Artificial Intelligence and Cinematography. The life time president of the university Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has advised the university board of governors (BoG) to take steps for introduction of the two courses.
The BoG, meanwhile, has decided to introduce basic science and humanities courses like M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Geography, Psychology, Economics and MA in English.
The Board of Governor meeting was presided by the President of the varsity Rajita Kulkarni. Other members present include vice chancellor DrS.K.Gakhar, higher education secretary BishnupadaSethi, director operation Narendra Lamba, trustee SSRVM GautamMukerjee, and executive registrar Commodore GhanashyamOjha
Speaking on the introduction of the new curriculum, the newly appointed vice chancellor, Gakhar said, “The change in curriculum will help in the overall growth of the students. These skills are especially crucial to help them compete in the job-market.”
The University at present offers 24 courses, which includes both UG as well as PG courses
