Bhubaneswar: The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) has showered all praise on the Odisha Table Tennis Association (OTTA) for successfully hosting the 80th Senior Inter-State & National Table Tennis Championship, 2018.
The OTTA president LN GuptA, who is also the additional chief secretary MSME department, said that the OTTA Is awarded by the Table Tennis Federation of India TTFI for successfully organizing the 80th Senior Inter-State & National Table Tennis Championship, 2018 in the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Cuttack from 04th to 09th January 2019.
The TTFI unanimously declared the Cuttack edition of the Senior National TT was best ever in the history of the Championship. In its recent AGM at Delhi, the TTFI awared STTA for the same. The Chairman Emeritus D.P. Bagchi and Honourary Secretary Rabindra Kumar Parida received the award for the Association.
“So, we have showed the nation that we are the best in hosting mega sporting event. Now it’s the time to show the world that we are second to none too. The Commonwealth TT Championship in July this year is a big challenge for us and we vow to make it best ever too”, said Gupta.
