Bhubaneswar: Indian Metal Public Charitable Trust(IMPaCT), the CSR arm of the Odisha based IMFA has started the process of selecting eminent sports persons for Ekalabya Award 2019. The Award carries a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh. Besides, two sports persons would be awarded with cash prize of Rs 50,000 each for exemplary sports activities.
IMPaCT has invited applications from sports persons through their sports organisation or educational institutions for the Award.
The convenor of the Ekalabya Award Committee, Ashok Kumar Behera, has said that sportsperson under 25 years of age can apply through e-mail (ekalabya@imfa.in) with their certificates of participating in inter-national, national or state level competitions.
