Bhubaneswar: The former head of Utkal University anthropology department professor Kishore Kumar Basa has been nominated for prestigious Tagore National Fellow by the union ministry of culture. He would be a Fellow member at the Indira Gandhi National Human Museum at Bhopal. Basa would pursue his study on the changing trend in Human Science and Museum since 19th century.
Professor Basa, a topper in 1973 matriculation examination, had bis doctorate degree from London University and had his post-doctoral degree from Cambridge Univeristy . He has worked as the director of Kolkata Indian Museum, Anthropological Survey of India and also the Indira Gandhi National Human Museum.
