Thiruananthapuram: Kerela police Saturday arrested a 25 year-old man on charges of sexually exploting over 50 women. The police have seized morphed obscene photos of victims from his lap top.
Police said that the accused Pradeesh Kumar of Areeparambu near Ettumanoor used to befriend with the women over social media and then blackmail them with their morphed obscene photos.
Giving details of his modus operandi, the police said that Pradeesh used to collect the family problems of his targeted housewives. Then he establish contact with the husband of the targeted woman by opening fake facebook accounts in the name of a woman. He try to flirt with the husband over facebook. He then forward the screen shots of his chat with the husband to the wife to convince her that their husband is in illicit relationship with a woman.
On being convinced that the relationship between the husband and wife got bitter, he tried to get close to the woman and invite her for video chats. He then blackmail the woman with morphed naked photos and sexually exploit her.
The police registered a case on the complaint of a victim woman and arrested the accused.
