Bhubaneswar: The Odisha chief minister, Naveen Patnaik, expressed his happiness over the performance of his ministers.
Patnaik, while chairing the council of ministers meeting, here on Thursday, expressed his pleasure over timely submission of monthly work report by the ministers.
The chief minister, however, gave some additional tips to the ministers to work effectively for the people. Giving five tips, he advised them to accelerate the work of their respective departments for good governance. He asked them to make extensive tour to get updates of their departments work at grassroots.
“Pay surprise visit to different offices and institutions of your departments to expedite the services. Meet people during the trip, understand their issues and take direct feedback from the beneficiaries about the government services,” he directed the ministers.
The CM again stressed on 5Ts — Transparency, Technology, Teamwork, Transformation and Time — asking the ministers to focus on these for change in the existing system.
