Bhubaneswar: Xavier School of Rural Management (XSRM) will be hosting its annual business conclave, Abhivyakti, on Sunday.
The conclave is an industry interface program that facilitates collaboration and discussion amongst the best minds in the field of rural management.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Tectonic shift in rural milieu.’ Academicians, professionals, and industry experts across fields to present their views on some of the issues which are trending and have a big impact on rural society. It is further divided into three sub-themes. The first sub-theme is, “Private Investment in subsistence consumer for inclusive growth and policy formulation”. It aims to discuss the growing role of the private sector and foreign investments that have become the key to address the issue of the subsistence consumer, and the need to access as well as comprehend the route to inclusive growth. The second sub-theme is, “Role of Marketing and Social Entrepreneurship in poverty alleviation of India”. It focuses on the need to merge to a common goal viz., to alleviate the poverty of the nation. The third sub-theme is “Policy advisory for rural governance and the need for skill development” which discusses a balanced growth of the agricultural and non-agricultural sector in playing an important role for creating better economic conditions. These sessions will enhance their understanding and will help them to identify solutions to the vital problems inundating the sector.
The event will be graced by ten eminent industry veterans who will share their knowledge and industry experience with the students.
