Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Citizens Award 2019 was conferred on Congress politician and former minister Suresh Kumar Routray along with eight other eminent personalities from various fields like Agriculture, Art and Culture, Business, Education, Entertainment, Social Service, Sports, and Health Services, here on Saturday.
The Awards, instituted by Odisha Television Network, were handed over to Sudhir Rout for social service, Pramod Bhagat for sports, Dr JP Das for health, Jollywood actor Braja Panigrahi for entertainment and Sangram Kumar Das for Business for their outstanding achievements in their concerned field. OTV co founder and director Jagi Mangat Panda delivered the welcome address.
The union MSME minister Pratap Sarangi graced the occasion as the chief guest, while BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda, Odisha Congress chief Niranjan Patnaik were present at the award function.
