Bhubaneswar: The Odisha chief minister’s Office(CMO) Saturday tweeted that the exotic Krushi Bhawan building of the State has been shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival 2019 Award.
The World Architecture Festival 2019 will be held at Amsterdam from December 4 to 6. Odisha’s Krushi Bhawan has been selected for the World Architecture Festival 2019 Award in building category.

Krushi Bhawan, spreads over 1.3 lakh sq.ft, is the headquarter of the Odisha government’d department for agriculture and farmers’ empowerment. Designed for sustainability, the administrative Centre features an expressive combination of regional materials and vernacular narratives. The Rs70 crore building suits the Award criteria of architect that brings sustaibility to design and built.
The architecture of the aesthetic building is Studio Lotus of New Delhi. It took six years to complete the project work which was started in 2013.
