Bhubaneswar: The simple lifestyle of Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik has moved the South Indian film actor turned politician Kamal Haasan.
“Saw his lifestyle from a close and got answers to many of my questions”, Haasan told media after a meeting with Patnaik, here on Monday.
Haasan called on the chief minister at the later’s residence Naveen Niwas in the evening and the two leaders discussed about an hour.
The founder of Tamil Nadu based political party Makkal Needhi Maiam(MNM) elicited some tips from Patnaik about running regional party in the State.
Naveen is known for his simple living style. He wears white kurta-pyjama and rides a Maruti car to office. The soft spoken politician has set a new trend in running regional party in the country. That he got victory for his BJD party in five State elections consecutively speaks volumes about his skill in managing regional satraps.
