Bhubaneswar: The Odisha housing and urban development department Thursday signed 3 MoUs to transform urban delivery system in the presence of chief minister Naveen Patnaik. The MoUs were signed with e-gov foundation of Nandan Nilakani and Srikanth Nandhmuni, Jangrah Centre for Citizenship & Democracy of Ramesh and Swathi Ramanathan, and India Heritage City Network Foundation represented by its chairman Ramachandran.
While the e-gov will provide full stack of municipal service applications which include a feature-rich dashboard portal for all ULBs, public grievance management system, finance & accounting, property tax management, water & sewage system, trade license system and online building plan approval system . It will be easily accessible for citizen through web and mobile app.
Janagaraha Centre will undertake a transformative reform of property taxation in ULBs resulting in growth in revenue of ULBs and investment in better service and infrastructure.
The Indian Heritage City Network will work for heritage based sustainable development.
The chief minister said that these MoUs will be successful in providing transformative result in a time bound manner to improve urban life.
Urban minister Pratap Jena, Odisha Skill Development Authority CEO Subrato Bagchi, chief secretary Asit Tripathy, development commissioner Suresh Mohapatra and 5T secretary VK Pandian were present.
