Bhubaneswar: The State government Saturday suspended Chandbali NAC executive officer Satyabrata Matri from service for allegedly forgery and irregularities. The urban and housing minister Pratap Jena had directed for the suspension of Matri.
Matri, when he was executive officer of Choudwar municipality he was allegedly indulges in committing tampering of records, forgery and making illegal appointments contravening the instructions of the housing and urban development department.
The government has initiated disciplinary proceeding against him for imposing major penalty .
