Bhubaneswar: The Reserve Bank of India governor Shaktikanta Das called upon the Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik, here on Thursday.
The RBI governor said that the meeting discussed about the financial inclusion programme and presence of bank in Odisha.
The chief minister suggested for opening of more bank branches in non-banking areas of the State, increase loan disbursement to agriculture sector and DBT facilities.
The RBI governor is in the city to attend the federal bank’s Central Board Meeting on Friday.
