Khorda (Odisha): A video clip which has gone viral is quite disturbing.
The clip shows that that one person is tied to a coconut tree on the main road of the village and two young men are beating him mercilessly with wooden clubs. Badly hurt when the person asks for water one of his tormentors is pissing on his face. What is more disturbing is that the villagers standin on the spot as silent spectator.
Confirming that the video clip is genuine, the Khorda police have swung in to action and arrested one of the accused Rajendra Bhuyan.
The Khorda SP said the two accused of Kaipadar village had forcibly brought the person from the neighbouring village Bangida. They tied him to a coconut tree on the main road of Kaipadar village. Then they had beaten him mercilessly with wooden clubs. One of them urinated on the face of the victim.
