Cuttack: Odisha Police DGP Abhay called upon the top police officials of the State to be pro-active and sincere in implementation of the Mo Sarkar and 5T initiatives of the State government. He was interacting with commissioner of police, range IGs, DIGs, deputy commissioner of police and superintendent of police through video conferencing at State police head quarter, here on Wednesday.
The DGP stressed on the review of pendency of investigation, special excuting of NBW and timely holding of promotional boards for promotion to the rank of ASI, Lance Naik and Havildars at different level.
DGP insisted on full fledged utilisation of CCTNS scheme in the state. He also called upon the SPs to give top priority to POCSO and Red Flag cases investigation and achieve as low as 15% pendency by March this year. The SPs were also asked to improve the quality of investigation and supervision.
The meeting discussed about: 1. Implementation of CCTNS especially submission of Final Forms. 2. Preparation for implementation of three new projects under 5-T scheme, i.e. insurance Management System, Medico Legal System and EFIR. 3. Submission of nomination for different Police Medals especially DGP Disc, Governors Medal etc. 4. Submission of information about vacancies in different ranks. 5. Separation of consumer electricity connection within P.S campus. 6. Finalisation of land for building projects. 7.Proper utilisation of funds under non-salary heads. 8.Prioritization of building for State Action Plan 2020-21. 9.Proper utilisation of funds under head office contingency for Police Stations. 10.Supply of uniform articles.
Senior police officers ADGP(Hdqrs) V.T. Mishra, ADGP (Hdqrs), ADGP(L&O) Saumendra Priyadarsi, and IGP(Modernisation) Rekha Lohani were present in the meeting.
