Cuttack: Odisha police is strengthening the law and order measures in view of the present volatile situation prevailing in the country.
The State Police DGP, Abhay, Thursday took a meeting with Range IsGP/DIsGP, DCP and district SPs through video conferencing here at State Police Head Quarter and discussed about law and order situation of the State
He directed the senior police officials to take care of the law and order situation with all alacrity. He also directed for immediate action against Rasta Roko agitations.
The DGP also discussed about the supply and stocking of uniform articles, timely monitoring of disciplinary proceedings, problems and challenges in CCTNS, and reduction of pendency in investigation.
Abhay has also asked for submission of nomination for promotion of ASI to DCSI and submission of nomination for cash awards.
The Odisha police will organise a medicial medical camp for cancer detection among women officers on International Women’s Day, 8th March, 2020.
Senior officers of State police including V T Mishra, ADGP Hdqrs, Saumendra Priyadarshi, ADGP Law & Order, Rekha Lohani, IGP (Modernisation), Rajesh Kumar, IGP SCRB, Yatindra Koyal, IGP (Provisioning), A.N.Sinha, IGP, CID, CB were present in the meeting.
