Cuttack: The Odisha Police Monday worked strategy to enforce the COVID-19 rules in view of the State government extending the number of lockdown districts from 5 to 14 on Monday.

DGP, Abhay, who reviewed the enforcement of lockdown measures in five districts and 8 towns of Odisha through video conferencing with all districts SsP and DCsP and Range DIG/IG and C.P., Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, here on Monday, took the feedback. He directed to further improve enforcement in the lockdown districts.

Director (Intelligence), Addl. DGP (L & O) and other Senior officers also attended the meeting.

The State government Monday extended the lockdown in 9 more districts taking the total numbers to 14. The government has also banned the movement of inter-State buses. It also imposed strict norms on quarantined persons.
