Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress president Niranjan Patnaik Wednesday praised Naveen Patnaik government for its initiatives in combating the Coronavirus pandemic.
” I take this opportunity to command your government for the measures it has taken to contain the COVID-19 outbreak and minimise its impact, ” Patnaik has stated in a letter to the chief minister on Wednesday. He has mentioned that Odisha is one of the first State to enforce lockdown.
The Congress chief, while contributing Rs 10 lakh personally to the CMRF COVID-19 Fund, has urged the chief minister to take care of the daily wagers rickshaw pullers, street vendors and migrant labourers who are facing hardship due to the lockdown.
