Bhubaneswar: India Whisper ‘s story ‘India’s Most Wanted COVID-19 Lockdown violater’s Odisha Connection’ has brought Bramhabarada in Odisha’s Jaipur district in to focus

Following detection of a Hazarat Nizamuddin returnee having Coronavirus positive, Odisha government had declared shutdown the entire Bramhabarada area from Saturday morning. Later in the afternoon, the government has announced 48 hours shut down of Jajpur, Chandikhol, Bhavnagar and Painikoili towns along with block headquarters like Neulapur, Charinangala and Sadhavpur in the Jajpur district from Saturday night.

District collector Ranjan Das said four persons from Bramhabarada had returned from Hazarat Nizamuddin congregation. However, only one case has been found positive and remaining three were found negative.

Das said following detection of a Coronavirus positive patient, the major towns and block headquarters have been shutdown for 48 hours from 8PM from Saturday night. He said that the shutdown is aimed at identifying others those have come across the patient and preventing the spread of the virus.

The district collector said since the patient is a Maulana many people might have come in contact with him. Ranjan Das said that 13 people have come in contact with him.
