Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan passed away, here on Wednesday. He was 53.
Khan was suffering from colon cancer and was under treatment in a hospital. He is survived by his wife Sutapa and sons – Babil and Ayan.
Irrfan was last seen in ‘Angrezi Medium’ which hit the screen only to be stopped due to lock down the next day.
Irrfan bagged the national award for his powerful acting in Paan Singh Tomar, a sportsman biopic. His Hindi films Piku and Maqbool received critics attention.
He had appeared in some significant roles in Hollywood blockbusters like Jarasssic Word and Inferno, and English movies Slumdog Millioner and Life of Pi.
