Bhubaneswar: The Odisha chief minister, Naveen Patnaik, Tuesday directed the Team Odisha Covid-19 to scale up the testing to 15,000 per day from the present 3,500 now.

Till now Odisha has conducted a total testing of 47,000 and out of this only 170 cases were reported positive. The State government is proposing testing facilities at Koraput, Balangir, Baripada and Balasore .

The chief minister who presided over review meeting on Covid-19, here on Tuesday, said as many as 10,751 quarantine centres to accommodate over 4.68 lakh have been ready for the migrants coming to the State. Similarly, 415 centres to accommodate 32,524 persons area ready in urban areas.
