New Delhi: Union MSME minister Nitin Gadkari has plan for migrant workers.
Gadkari has said that his focus is now on the 150 Aspiring Districts of the country. According to him, these are the districts from where the labour migration is taking place in large number.
Industrialisation of these districts will check migration, he said adding, his ministry is now targeting these backward areas of the country.
The MSME minister said, in 2019-20, cottage and grmadyog industries have done Rs 88,000 cross worth of business. The MSME ministry’s target is to take the business to 5 lakh cross in next two years.
