Bhubaneswar: Odisha government Sunday has relaxed the quarantine and social distance rules to facilitate bus, train and flight operations.
The special relief commissioner, PK Jena, said, the persons coming for a maximum of 3 days or 72 hours need not have to undergo quarantine. Those are going out for 3 days also need not have to undergo quarantine.
The government has reduced the quarantine period to 14 days from 21 days. Migrants coming from other States have to undergo 7 days institutional quarantine. If no symptom is seen, would be send for home quarantine for another 7 days. However, in urban areas the incoming person have to undergo 14 days home quarantine. For hotel quarantine, the expenses have to be borne by the concern person.
Jena said the State has decided to allow plying of Intra-State bus services from tomorrow.
Jena told a presser that the buses will run only with its sitting capacity. However, wearing of mask by the passengers is compulsory.
Similarly, Ola Uber, cabs autos will run as usual. However, there should be one driver and two passengers allowed at a time.
