Bhubaneswar: Overwhelmed by the tremendous response to his call to sing Vande Utkal Janani, the Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik expressed his gratitude to the Odia people world over.
Patnaik had appealed the Odias to sing Vande Utlkal Janani at 5.30 pm on Saturday in respect of the Corona warriors.
People all over Odisha participated in the chorus. Non-resident Odias staying in different parts of the country joined the chorus. Odia organisations in countries like US, Dubai, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, China participated in the mass singing of Vande Utkal Janani.
Odisha governor Gansehi Lal, union minister Dharmendra Pradhan and other senior leaders cutting across party line had joined the mass singing.
