Cuttack: The main accused of Rs 1800 crore Uliburu mines scam in Odisha, Deepak Gupta, has got conditional bail from the Odisha high court.
The high court, after rejecting Deepak’s bail petition as many as six times, has given bail for one month passing an interim bail order on Friday. Deepak will furnish a bond of Rs 1 crore and two bailers worth Rs 2 crore each. Deepak will have to submit his passport . Deepak will be on bail for one month from the date of completing the bail conditions.
The Odisha vigilance police has filed a case against Deepak and seven others for illegally raising iron ore worth about Rs1800 crore from Ulibur mines.
The Enforcement Directorate has also filed a case against Deepak Gupta.
