Bhubaneswar: Amidst surging of Covid-19 cases, the Odisha government has decided to allow the liquor venders to sale across the counter from Wednesday.
Under Unlock-1.0 regime, the government had allowed online sale of liquor in the State. The shops were closed for over 60 days before that. The liquor traders in the State had sold 20.59 lakh liters of liquor and 20.81 lakh beer bottles through online during the last five weeks through 17.33 lakh home delivery.
The government now has issed SoP the for traders to sale liquor. Both the traders and the customers have to abide the Covid-19 guidelines.
