J & K Lt. Governor Gireesh Murmu resigns, Manoj Sinha new Lt. Governor

New Delhi: J & K Lt. Governor Gireesh Chandra Murmu has resigned on Wednesday. Murmu’s resignation has been accepted by the President of India.

The President has appointed Manoj Sinha as the new Lt. Governor of J & K.

Murmu may be appointed as CAG of India in place of Rajiv Mehrishi.
