Puri: On the Occasion of “World Tourism Day” , International sand artist, Manas Kumar Sahoo has beautifully sculpted a sand art which depicts some famous tourist spots to encourage tourism throughout the World.
Unfortunately 2020 has been very stressful. The tourism department has been impacted a lot due to the deadly pandemic. Keeping this in mind , Manas has taken a small initiative to promote tourism by creating a beautiful sand art in which he has picturised some of the famous tourist spots to attract people to schedule their travel plans and has also taken utmost care in spreading the message to maintain social distance and to be safe by using sanitizers and wearing masks while traveling. Promoting tourism can help in strengthening the economy. Not only in this but also helps people to de-stress from the impact of Covid-19.
The sand art, which took about five hours to be completed, promotes tourism through Manas’ message “Travel & Revel” and conveys people to de-stress themselves.
