Bhubaneswar: Odisha information and public relation (I & PR) principal secretary Bishnupada Sethi said that digital medial played a significant role in dissemination of information during crisis periiod like Covid-19 pandemic and cyclone ‘Yaash’.
Sethi, while addressing the conference of I & PR information officers, here on Thursday, said that the officers have worked commendably during the recent crisis period. He advised them to use digital media and social media platforms like Twitter, Whatsup,Facebook and bring all the developmental news and positive human interest stories to the people.
The I & PR minister, Raghunandan Das, and I & PR director Indramani Tripathy also addressed the conference. They advised the information officers to take full advantage of 5T to reach out to people with information.
Additional director Pramod Mallick, joint director Surendra Kumar Parida and deputy directors Manas Ranjan Khuntia, Santosh Kumar Das and Biswajit Das were present in the conference held in virtual mode.
