Bhubaneswar: Indplas’25, the 10th edition of the International Plastics Exhibition, will be held in Kolkata from February 28 to March 3, 2025.
Indplas’25 chairman Ashok Jajodia, told media persons, here on Wednesday, that the theme for the exhibition is “The Future is East,” which reflects the immense growth potential and opportunities in the plastics sector in Eastern India. According to him the enthusiasm among exhibitors is high, with all exhibition space being booked within just 45 days of online bookings opening. Indplas25 is poised to become the largest sector-specific B2B international plastics exhibition in Eastern India.
Foreign exhibitors from countries such as Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Germany, the USA, Iran, and others have already confirmed their participation. While many Chinese exhibitors are unable to attend due to Indian visa policies, there has been a strong response from both Indian and international manufacturers of machinery, raw materials, ancillary services, and producers of additives and masterbatches. This makes Indplas’25 a comprehensive event, bringing the entire plastics industry together under one roof.
The exhibition comes at a time when the Eastern region of India is poised for rapid growth, thanks to its low per capita consumption of plastics and the easy availability of raw materials from major suppliers such as Indian Oil Corporation Ltd in Odisha, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd in West Bengal, and Brahmaputra Gas & Cracker Ltd in Assam.
Indplas’25 aims to drive the development of the plastics sector, with a particular focus on sustainability, technological advancements, and business expansion. The exhibition will showcase the latest innovations, technologies, and products from the plastics manufacturing and processing sectors.
