Bhubaneswar: Four gymnasts of the Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre (HPC) will seen in action at FIG World Challenge Cup 2025 to be held in Paris, and Szombathely in Hungary.

The four gymnasts, Tapeswarnath Das, Tapan Mohanty, Pranatyi Nayak and Tanu, were selected in the National Camp, held at the Odisha AM/NS Gymnastics HPC from July 22 to August 30, 2025, in which total 11 gymnasts were selected nationally.

In the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG), Tapeswarnath and Tapan will compete at the FIG World Challenge Cup at Paris from September 13 to 14, 2025. It will be followed by the FIG World Challenge Cup at Szombathely from September 26 to 28, in which both of them will participate in the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG).

At the FIG World Challenge Cup at Szombathely, Pranati and Tanu will represent India in the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG).

Ahead of the tournaments, along with the Indian contingent, the four gymnasts will also attend a National Foreign Exposure Camp in Paris from September 1, obtaining invaluable experience in training and competing in a world-class environment.

Ashok Kumar Mishra, Chief Coach, Odisha AM/NS India gymnastic ) has also been selected as part of the National Foreign Exposure Camp in Paris, strengthening India’s coaching excellence on the world stage.
