Bhubaneswar: Odisha Child Right Protection Commission chairperson Sandhyabati Pradhan has been honoured with the Bharat Champion Sanmman for her work for children affected in the cyclone Fani.
Pradhan was conferred with the Sanmman at Right Star National Summit, organised by ‘Save the Children’ at New Delhi on Wednesday. Save the Children is a global NGO working for the welfare of the children in 120 countries worldover has completed 100 years. Along with Pradhan, nine chairpersons of State Child Right Protection Commissions were also honoured with the Sanmman on this occasion.
The India CEO of Save the Children Bidisha Pillai, National Child Right Protection Commissioin chairman Priyanka Kanungo, UNICEF representative in India Jasmin Alli Haque were present on the occasion.
