Bhubaneswar: The Odisha agriculture minister, Arun Sahu, Monday directed the Odisha Seed Corporation to prepare a road map to meet the seed demands of farmers.
The minister said that the Corporation should assess the seed requirement of the farmers of the Odisha and make a road map to meet that demand within a short time period. Stating that agriculture production depends largely on quality seed and availability of seed at right time, he directed the Corporation officials to work with a commitment for increasing production and productivity of agriculture produces in the State.
Sahu, who made a surprise visit to the Seed Corporation head office here on Monday, advised the officials to adopt the 5Ts culture to improve their punctuality and work efficiency. Make the Seed Corporation more pro-active with team work, he suggested.
