Bhubaneswar: The Odisha chief minister, Naveen Patnaik, Saturday advised the children to face the challenges in the life with a positive attitude.
“True education is that which empowers us to face the challenges of life with a positive attitude”, he said while addressing the closing ceremony of Suravi, a State-level children festival.
Patnaik said success will come if one works with positive attitude.
The chief minister told the children not to keep their knowledge confined to text books. Stating that this is the age of knowledge, he advised them to keep their knowledge up-to-date. He asked them to indulge in sports, dance, music, art and social service as they like.
The school & mass education minister, Sameer Dash, science & technology minister Ashok Chandra Panda, school & mass education secretary Chitra Armugam and director BS Punia graced the occasion.
